PELAKITA.ID – Tucked away in the elegant neighborhood of Qurm, Muscat, Cafe Kaleem is more than just a café—it’s a haven for coffee lovers and pastry enthusiasts seeking quality in a serene and stylish atmosphere.

Known for its inviting ambiance and thoughtfully curated menu, Cafe Kaleem offers a variety of delightful options, from caramel-drizzled French toast and cheese-stuffed croissants with strawberry glaze, to a savory halloumi zaatar twist that perfectly accompanies their specialty coffees.

One good destination for the coffee lovers in Muscat: Kaleem Cafe

My visit to Cafe Kaleem came upon the warm invitation of a friend from Baubau, Southeast Sulawesi, who currently works for an Indonesian oil company operating in Oman.

As we sat and caught up over cups of expertly brewed coffee, I was introduced to one of the baristas, Akbar, a humble yet passionate young man from Bogor, Indonesia.

Akbar shared that he is one of 14 Indonesian staff members working at Cafe Kaleem, most of whom serve as baristas or kitchen crew.

When asked about the strong presence of Indonesians in the café, he smiled and replied, “Indonesians are gifted when it comes to coffee. We don’t just make coffee—we put our heart into it.”

Indeed, Indonesia has earned global recognition for producing world-class baristas. In international coffee and barista competitions, Indonesian professionals consistently stand out, often emerging as champions thanks to their meticulous skills, creativity, and deep connection to coffee culture.

Located near Qurum Natural Park and Qurum Beach, Cafe Kaleem combines local charm with international flavors—an experience elevated by the warmth and talent of its Indonesian team. It’s not just a café; it’s a reflection of global harmony through coffee.

For those unable to drop by in person, Cafe Kaleem is also available via Talabat, making its delicious menu and signature coffee just a few clicks away.

In a city that blends diverse cultures, Cafe Kaleem stands as a quiet yet compelling tribute to the excellence and spirit of Indonesian hospitality, one sip at a time.
